King Cyclops really does have a thing about sloppy,ignorant ,unprofessional speeches and speech. writing.
At a major speech yesterday in Warsaw,Trumpski called for the "defence of Western Civilisation" warning of forces “from the south or the east, that threaten ..to erase the bonds of culture, faith, and tradition,”
The usual Trumpf anti Muslim dog whistle.
Let's for the purpose of this post ignore criticising the point Trumpski was trying to make.
To make his point he attempted to draw on some polish history:
He praised the heroic martyrdom of the Polish resistance Home Army in August 1944 at the hands of the Nazis.
He and his speech writers obviously ignorant of the fact that uprising was to be coordinated with the arrival of the Soviet Red Army.
From where they could[for 8 weeks]watch the Germans slaughter the resistance and the civilian population.
Not sure what Putin made of the Speech
Perhaps if they had asked the State Department for a briefing they would have known what every Polish 11 year old learns and used a more appropriate piece of Polish History

- The enslavement of the Italian States and Principalities.
- Domination of the Catholic Bohemians,Moravians and Slovenes.
It was only a matter of time--a week away at best.

He defeated the Muslim Turk and thus began the long decline of the Ottoman Empire.
The Pope declared Sobieski "Savior of Vienna and Western European civilization."
