I was going to write a thoughtful and reasoned post predicting that Trumpfski would be gone by the beginning of 2020,Theresa May by June 2019 ,Macron by  March 2020 and Corbyn before the next UK election.

Only the last prediction was more wishful thinking than analysis.I fear the Labour party will split before Corbyn goes.

This week's events in Washington indicate that the 2020 date was a Cyclops bias; hoping Trumpfski would survive  long enough to destroy the Publicans in the 20020 Presidential,Senate,House and Governorship elections in November of that year.

In the last month or so: 

• US stock Markets in complete rout--down almost twenty per cent since October.
• General Mattis resigns,following Kelly two weeks ago.
• The last of the four Trumpfski's  Generals
• Judge refuses to go along with ultra soft plea deal given to General Flynn
• Trumpfski Lawyer Cohen  points finger directly at the president
• National enquirer publisher confirms he paid off Stormy and Karen to shut them up before the election.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 
• Trumpfski "charity" foundation closed at behest of New York City Legal Department
• Newly elected New York State Attorney General vows to investigate ALL of Trumpfski's business ties with Italian and Russian Mafia
• As well as New York State Tax Avoidance.
• She also pledges to look into the role of the"children' and son in law Kushner.                                                                                                                                                                                              

• Kushner under investigation by Mueller
• So is Ivanka.
• House Democrats have only just begun to sharpen their investigatory knives.
• Even the Senate Publicans voted to condemn Trumpfski's support of  Saudi Crown prince bin Salman
• The Senate is cutting off funding for support of Yemen attrocities
• Kim Young Il openly reneges on the "Denuclearisation  deal",demanding US de nukes first.
• Sen ate refuses to ratify the "NEW,BETTER" NAFTA deal.                                                                     

• Steel and China Tariffs back fire.
• Growth slows.
• Soy and Dairy farmers demand bail out
• Trump Slump begins
• Judge over rules Trumpfski regulations on border control                                                                      

• Rogue Judge rules Obamacare "unconstitunional"--calling bluff on Publicans and
•  Throwing their Congressional leadership into a funk.
•  Funk deepened into panic by Trumpfski temper tantrum over his WALL
•  Publicans cannot even get a minor Wall funding bill through the house
•  The  forty+ Publicans defeated or retired at elections in November ain't coming back to DC to vote for Trumpfski  and
• The rest got the message 
•  Trumpfski can't count--votes that is
• He still thinks he won the popular vote in 2016

                                                

                                                        AND ON AND ON

Two thirds of the 30 starting Cabinet Members and Senior non Cabinet officials [CIA,UN,FBI,Press Secretary,Chief of Staff etc] are gone--in disgrace or humiliation.

Only one left on her own terms and with her reputation intact

• Surely the pious evangelicals would not stomach "grabbing by the crotch"?

• Multiple other sexual shenanigans
• Let alone the two ecclesiasticals
• The only Church attendance is the Golf Course at Mar A Lago

• The promise/refusal to release the tax returns
• Insulting Gold Star Parents
• Naked Nepotism
• Using the office for personal financial gain
• Chinese trademark grant to the Trump Organization
• Emoluments clause and Trump DC Hotel

• Tax Cuts targeted to the rich and to multinational companies

• Picking squabbles with Merkel,Macron,May,Trudeau,the Aussie One etc

• Supporting the two of the three largest financiers of terrorism and deadly instability--Russia and Saudi.
• The Persians[the third]  must have diddled Trumpski in his TRUMP TOWER  BAKU deal  with General Mohammad Ali Jafariof the Revolutionary Guard.

• Dissing the intelligence services when they reach inconvenient conclusions.

• Hounding the Attorney general[A world class bigot in his own right]

• Tearing infants and children from the arms of their desperate mothers
• THE WALL
• Fake claims of illegal voting
• Ignoring Russian Hacking
• Generally blaming "the other"
• White Supremacy
• Charlottesville

• Puerto Rico Hurricane Devastation
• Tossing Toilet rolls

Cyclops is well aware that much of this would delight his bigot base and the "know nothings" in the Real America.            "We got two Supremes"

•  HRH did not dream for a moment that his base would give a damn about Jared's Saudi mate butchering a US based journalist.
• But after a momentary unification with their souls what has the Publican Senate done about this extraordinary and brutal disrespect to US values?
• A "smoking chain saw" is a good one liner Senator Lyndsey Graham.
• Now what?

• Cyclops really wanted to believe that at least part of his base would be offended by his  travel to  Europe to "celebrate"the 100th anniversary of end to  WW1 
• Then skipping a planned visit to pay respect at a US Veterans Cemetery.
• At least General Kelly had sufficient respect to brave the drizzly weather.
• Then on return to the US the President,who is "very big,the biggest" on the the military was too busy to ride the mile from the White House to Arlington National Cemetery on Memorial Day.

•  Yet his "support " seems to remain loyally comatose--that's the  Publican Elected officials.
• Going down with the ship?
• The bigot base will always be with him but it is astonishing that the last poll the Court reviewed still showed a 39% to 52% approval/disapproval rating.
• When will it finally arrive at the 33% bigot + evangelical base?
• No doubt the collapse will come just after the sane in America give up in  disbelief.

The lies,denials,the pantomime and the michigas continues

The mid term success of the Democrats was indeed a Trump referendum.

It opens the gate to proper congressional review

• We are living through the beginning of the end.
• Too much evidence,too many convictions,too many obvious crimes.
• Too many associates taking a plea.
• A Democratic House  waiting to unleash a tsunami of investigations
• Nobody volunteering to be Chief of Staff.
• King Lear will be abandoned in his redoubt.

Within a month of Ivanka giving her testimony,the men in white coats will do their duty.

BREXIT PREDICTIONS REDUX

June 24, 2016                                  DAY AFTER REFERENDUM                                                         Pols… parroting that this is “what the people decided" .

This despite one interviewer pressing on the wisdom and constitutionality of such a small margin in a referendum determining how our elected representatives then vote in parliament.

 In the short run: 

• There will be some financial dislocation [panic?].
• I predict that the polls will indicate firmer support for Brexit & "Britain can do it" sentiment.
• Cognitive dissonance avoidance.
• Once the implications sink in, watch for significant buyer’s remorse.
• Hopefully that will be very clear before parliament votes.

• Many Members of Parliament will vote their conscience and reject the referendum
• The Lords are unelected....
• The UK will not leave the EU
• The YOOF may now reconsider!
• Theresa May beats Bonking Boris.
• Election called before end of year.
• The four major UK  parties led by a REMAIN politician

  Cyclops derides the MAY government’s decision to trigger Article50 and to begin the fuse running for exit.

• She will not be fooled by a Canadian /Norwegian/Swiss or Montenegrin Solution.   

                                              Brexit will NOT mean Brexit.  

        Britain Knows. 

• There will be a "Peoples Vote" in one form or another.
• That's a 2nd referendum.
• This is the only remaining road to Salvation.

Unless of course Brexiteers follow the logic of their own rhetoric :

•  Call for Parliament to decide .
•  On a free vote by each member member.
•  Each then subject to the judgment of her/his constituents.
•  A return to British Representative Democracy.
• Through the will of Parliament.

                                   Stranger things have/are happened/happening.

After this outcome of Epic Norse or Greek Proportions--the EU may then proceed to collapse under the weight of its internal contradictions.

 or the stupidity of its leaders.
