• England played above themselves in this tournament.
• They were flattered to have made the semi final.
• They beat only one team team in the FIFA  top 20 --Colombia no.16.
• And that took penalties after extra time.
• They lost to Croatia #18[silly,that says something about these rankings].

• The game showed up the flaw:
•  In playing without a quality midfield play maker.
• As hard and bravely as Henderson played,is anybody expecting an Italian/Spanish/French/Other  club to show up with a checkbook.
• Not even Arsenal are that confused.
• Croatia had two-- in addition  to Modric.
• And with a make shift centre back who plays right back for his club.
• Walker is a good and fast fullback but there is a reason Pochetino  had him sold to ManCity to be replaced by Trippier.
• He statutarily makes one sleepy error per game.
• He is not an international quality central defender.

• In five games England scored six against Panama #55 below Burkina Faso 😆
• Only another 6 in six games through this semi final.
• All from set pieces.
• Three of these by Harry Kane.
• More dependant on Kane than even Tottenham.

So be it mes amis 

France to beat Croatia .

They have genuine quality in every position .
